Promus Equity Partners Announces Investment in PMA

Chicago, Illinois, April 2, 2019 – Promus Equity Partners LLC, in partnership with Arizona-based private equity firm Estancia Capital Management LLC, is pleased to announce the acquisition of PMA Financial Network LLC alongside PMA’s management team. Based in Naperville, Ill., PMA is a premier provider of comprehensive financial and advisory services to municipalities, school districts and other local government entities. Dr. Robert English founded PMA in 1984, and the English family owned and operated the business over the following 35 years.

Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren SC provided legal counsel to Promus. Sandler O’Neill and Partners LP and Kirkland and Ellis LLP advised Estancia. Bulkley Capital LP and Dykema Gossett PLLC advised PMA. SunTrust Bank and CIBC Bank USA provided debt financing for the transaction. Terms of the investment were not disclosed.
